Erin Cuthbert admitted that Chelsea was “beaten fair and square” by Barcelona, who with 4-1 prevailed on Stamford Bridge to seal an 8-2 total routes in the semi-final of the Women's Champions League.
Barca moved to a record-similar fifth consecutive final, after a few of 4-1 victories over the Women's Super League leaders.
The side of Pere Romeu struck in the 25th minute of the second stage, while Aitana Bonmati shot from a tight corner of the net.
Ewa Pajor's Close-Range Finish and a 20-Yard strike by Claudia Pina brought Barca 3-0 for the good for the break.
Salma Parraluelo gang in on Niamh Charles' fault to add a fourth in the dying moments, as a result of which Wieke Kaptein's stopping time put the most comfort for the hosts.
“I think the emotions are pretty raw now,” Cuthbert told TNT Sports. “It is fair to say that we have been defeated honestly and square.
“We had a good enchantment in the first 20 minutes. But if you don't score, Barca always goes up the other side and hurt you. They were brilliant again. We started well, but we just faded in the game.
“If you know how many goals you have to score, it will be more difficult at that time. They are so clinical; they get three chances and score three goals, so the honor for them. In the future we have to improve.
“For us [after half-time]It was just about playing with a little proud. We were 3-0 down and the draw was probably lost at that time. We all represent one of the largest clubs in the world, which is accompanied by a weight, busy and the expectation that you will give everything for the badge.
“We have to use this pain, remember how it feels and know that we no longer want to feel it – and use it as fuel and motivation to continue.”

“Barcelona has an extremely good technical skills,” skipper Millie Bright told UEFA.com. “You can't make those mistakes against these opponents, and staying behind 3-0 during the break was too many to come back.
“There are many lessons for next year and hopefully we will come back. We never want to lose games, let alone the way we have lost these games in a competition that we want to win for the club and the fans.”
Barca will now try to win their third consecutive Champions League title, after they have won each of their last 17 Champions League tires that were played over two legs.
Romeu's side has also won victorious in each of their last 18 competitive road.
“I am very happy, but our goal is to win the Champions League,” Pajor added. “We played very well in these two games against Chelsea. We played how we wanted and we have to continue.
“I am new in Barca this season, and the way the players and the staff want to improve is great. It is great to be part of this club and a great privilege to play with these players.”
