This week, for a Chelsea Confidential Special Edition, we will let you choose the topics.
We brought the call last week for your questions for our expert Kieran Gill to answer – and you responded in large numbers.
Here we dive in everything, from the future of Cole Palmer to a new position for Moises Caicedo, and from a new stadium to a new center back.
Has your question been answered? And what is really going on with The Wonderkids on their way this summer? And what question was so good that we got Enzo Maresca to answer it? Read on to find out.
Can you validate or disprove the rumors that Cole Palmer has a release clause this summer if we don't get a Champions League?
I checked in this morning with Chelsea sources and they assured me that the total TOSH is: Colmer's updated contract contains no release clause based on Champions League qualification this summer.
The club was sympathetic to his rough patch when he went 18 games without a goal. He apparently put himself together more. Enzo Maresca personally had a few chats with him personally and told him that his spark would come back.
That spark came back on Sunday in that 3-1 victory over Liverpool. Anyway, I am not sure if this will prevent the rumors from being registered by the usual suspects on social media, but it seems that you can be sure that he will be a Chelsea player next season.
Do Enzo Maresca Moises Caicedo's long -term future as a no. 8 or a No. 6?
I will be honest, I didn't know a definitive look at this, so I asked Enzo Maresca to answer it on our behalf. In short, I asked about his plans for Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Romeo Lavia and Andrey Santos, who are ready to return from his loan to Strasbourg.
Maresca told me: 'I can answer those who are here. We will see those who are not here. I see Moises as a six in the way he plays since we started. In the last games he played like a full back of the ball and then on the ball, it is a six that midfielder holds.
'For Enzo I think we have been trying to get more goals and assists with him since day one. He has improved. I still think he can do better. I still think he is a player who can score 10 and 15 goals every season. Romeo is a six, such as Moises.
'With all players Fit, Romeo, Reece (James), Wesley (Fofana), (Nicolas) Jackson, the team is better. Unfortunately, some of them were injured for a long time. But hopefully we can now fit them until the end. '
So from that he sees Caicedo as a no. 6, Lavia also a No. 6, but Fernandez as more a no. 8. Chelsea's new system, where Caicedo reverses from the right, has enabled him to use all three at the same time.
Can Romeo Lavia be added to the Europa Conference League team for the final?
Chelsea cannot change their A -list, but they can add an unlimited number to their B -list until 11 p.m. the evening before a competition, as long as they meet the criteria.
I have checked with the relevant contacts at Chelsea and UEFA, because the formulation in the conference League rulebook is a bit confusing and it has been told by both parties that Romeo Lavia is not eligible to be added before the final of 28 May in Wroclaw, Poland.
Lavia, 21, was born after January 1, 2003, that one box caught on for the B -list, but he has not been to his current club long enough and neither his time in Manchester City nor Southampton counts, even though they are from the same association.
Wise is also a medal, told me that Chelsea will receive 50 golden if they win the conference competition or 50 silver when they are finished with second place.
It is up to them how they spread them between their players and coaches. It is expected that Mykhailo Mudryk would receive one when he participated in the competition earlier this season, even though he was now suspended from football.
Similarly, those who are on loan such as Joao Felix and Renato Veiga could also get one. I suspect that American journalists who have followed the team here, there and everywhere will miss the cut, unfortunately.
What happens to the keepers?
I was told that Robert Sanchez suffered a slight injury in the last two games. He played well in those games, and that mini -good enchantment did not go unnoticed at Chelsea.
But then it is difficult to ignore the larger image of the entire season and that includes Enzo Maresca that he is so tired of his mistakes that he dropped him a few games in February.
Anyway, Chelsea is currently not looking for a new signs of goalkeeper. They feel that they have enough talent in the building as it is with Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, Mike Penders and Djordje Petrovic.
Reviews will be made in the summer prior to the following season, set with Maresca to evaluate Penders and Petrovic, both of which arrive before the World Cup Club.
I expect that at least one of these four goalkeepers will be borrowed or sold. It has been noted that Petrovic has shown great improvements when playing passes while they are borrowed in Bening in Strasbourg.
I also believe that Jorgensen will be in goal for the Conference League final at the end of this month, because he was no. 1 during that European campaign.
Which style of striker Enzo Maresca keeps fun?
Someone who will sprint in the spaces behind and along the sides and who can keep the ball up and bring others around him.
That sounds similar to Nicolas Jackson, but it is crucial that Chelsea needs the next striker that they sign to be good in putting the ball in the back of the net.
They have wasted too many opportunities to score this season, and although Jackson is still learning at the age of 23, he could do better. It is hoped that a small competition will help him encourage.
Which player trains best?
The player whose name I have heard pops up the most when this topic has been supplied is Palmer.
He may look like a luxury player on the field, but apparently he did not escape the work in the training and he produced the best data during the physical tests of six months in February.
Will the qualification of the Champions League see a change in the transfer wage policy?
Ideally, those who are directed by Chelsea would embrace their existing wage structure. That does not mean that it is so strict that it cannot be broken for a big name. I am convinced that they would do this if they had a chance to reject.
The same applies to sticking to their youthful transfer policy. But the club believes that their general approach is smart. It is up to you whether you agree with that or disagree.
For example, Moises Caicedo is the next in line for a bump. He has already been contracted until 2031. The club is not obliged to improve its conditions. If they come to the Champions League, he will in any case secure an automatic increase because of the incentives that are built into his current contract.
But they are ready to discuss the reward of Caicedo with a new deal as soon as this season is over. They did that earlier with Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson, and these are two examples that can be quoted in conversations with the camps of players they focus.
If you perform in your potential, your contractual bonuses will not only start, but you can also get an extra boost on the road.
What are the plans for our young stars, such as Estevao Willian, Kendry Paez, Marc Guiu? I really want to know the situation of Christopher Nunku.
Estevao Willian is set up for the first Chelsea team next season, although Palmeiras confirmed me that the 18-year-old will play for them at the club World Cup instead of his new side.
Kendry Paez has trained with Strasbourg, but his camp insists that there is currently no plan that he is being borrowed there, because the 18-year-old has only used it as an opportunity to be acclimatized to European football. Yet I have a nagging feeling that we have to keep an eye on it.
Marc Guiu is expected to get stuck, even if Chelsea signs a striker when the 19-year-old is seen as a good backup option, especially when others pick up injuries.
As for Christopher Nunku, safe to say that he is for sale this summer.
Are we drawing Dean Huijsen?
Huijsen is the central defender they want more than most. It is clear that they are not only in that chase, although Liverpool believes that Chelsea is closer to landing than she is.
Jorrel Hato at Ajax is another that was followed by both Premier League clubs. However, it has been noted that he made mistakes in the Eredivisie, even as recent as last weekend, when he made two in a 4-0 loss at Utrecht. He is only 19, so time is on his side to improve.
But we will have to see if Chelsea can get Huijsen in the first place. Champions League qualification would be great.
Will there be information soon about whether they redevelop or move Stamford Bridge?
It is moved at the pace of a snails and I have not heard anything that suggests that will change until all involved match in which direction they want to go.
Todd Boehly even suggested when they took over in May 2022, they gave themselves 15 to 20 years to sort it out, which is not ideal for fans.
We have nine secondary backs on the books and are still looking for more, what is the plan, if present?
Axel Disasi must be sold as soon as he returns from his loan to Aston Villa and I did not hear that the position has changed on Trevoh Chalobah, who could also be for sale despite his improved versions.
Renato Veiga and Benoit Badiashile can also attract interest in the summer, while Aaron Anselmino must be allowed on loan.
Chelsea quietly rejected a big bid from Bayern Munich for Levi Colwill last summer. That would have been a nice piece of pure profit, but they saw him as a rising star for them and still have high expectations for him. Mamadou Sarr is from Strasbourg.
I have heard nothing to suggest that Chelsea wants to sell Josh Achampong, whose versatility has impressed Maresca, or Tosin Adarabioyo, whose leadership qualities are greatly appreciated.
What do they tell young recruits to sell them on this project?
I will postpone this answer to the agent of one of the young superstars signed by Chelsea.
When asked why they chose this project over the other available for them, he told me anonymously: 'They show their long -term project. It is the best in the world. If you currently have the best young players and you sign the best of the best in promising players, you can just succeed. '
