Chelsea has recalled frontman David Fofana from his loan saying on the Turkish side Goztepe.
Fofana made the switch to the Turkish Super Lig in September and made nine performances for the club, which scored twice. The Ivorian joined the Blues in January 2023 and has since been lent to Bundesliga Outfit Union Berlin and Burnley for his spell in Turkey.
The possibilities at Stamford Bridge are hard to find and he only made four first team performances during that season that he was in the books in Chelsea, three of those in the Premier League.
The West -Londers juggle their rush -hour options during the last days of the January transfer window. Fofana is back, but will somehow be the pecking order, even if several of the more established names leave.
Christopher Nunku will remain at least the end of the season. The 27-year-old, who arrived at Stamford Bridge for more than £ 50 million in June 2023, was on the radars of both Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
They believed that the demands of Chelsea were excessive and withdrawn from a deal in the middle season, even if Nunku is considered frustrated by his lack of minutes. He scored 16 goals in 43 first team matches for the blues, including 13 in 29 under Enzo Maresca this season, but the majority of his trips came from the bank.
Nicolas Jackson is the leading frontman in Chelsea and that also limits the minutes of Joao Felix, who could still leave. The versatile Portuguese star has difficulty finding a space in the team with Cole Palmer, the most important playmaker.
Felix was only signed in the summer and written a seven -year contract, but he seems to be on his way again. A switch to AC Milan for the rest of the season is on the cards with Chelsea that receives loan costs in the process.
The Italian side has just allowed Alvaro Morata to leave for Galatasaray, leaving them light from a forward. The Spaniard, once from Chelsea, only moved from Atletico Madrid to Milan in the summer, but is another player who moves again in a short time.
