Chelsea is said to be in the advanced phases of a deal to sign the Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder, who was once a miracle member in Barcelona, is expected to leave the Bundesliga club this summer after they had not obtained in the Champions League football last season.
He only came to Leipzig last summer in a deal with a first £ 43 million, whereby the German club is said to look for a fee of £ 60 million to secure his services a year later.
The negotiations between the representatives of the two club are supposed to claim well, with conversations about personal conditions also demanded, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Simons, who can play in midfield and on the wing, spent three seasons in Leipzig, two of those on loan from French giant PSG.
His statistics provide impressive reading, with the highly appreciated talent that yielded 10 goals and offers seven assists in 25 Bundesliga performances in the past term. At the age of 22 he also collected 28 performances for the Dutch national team.
However, if the deal comes across the line, Simons will join a team at Stamford Bridge that is almost overflowing with talent in attacking areas.
While they brag with Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto, the blues have already strengthened their team this summer with the additions of Joao Pedro for £ 60 million and Liam Delap for £ 30 million.
Winger Jamie Gittens also entered Borussia Dortmund for £ 55 million, while the highly appreciated Brazilian teenage Estevao for £ 29 million from Palmeiras will arrive.

Nicolas Jackson is also linked to a relocation of Stamford Bridge that dropped the pecking order.
Chelsea insists that they are not in a hurry to sell and appreciate Jackson, which they signed two years ago for £ 32 million, at £ 100 million despite the search to find an upgrade.
Manchester United is considered one of the clubs for the striker, where the Red Devils want to replace the wrestling Dane Rasmus Hojlund.
Raheem Sterling returned to the club this summer after his seasonal loan in Arsenal, with Joao Felix back from a spell at AC Milan.
Both players, however, will probably not occur in the plans of Maresca this period and no doubt looking for a switch from West-London.
