Erin Cuthbert's Stoppage Time winner all three points for the League leaders while they maintained their undefeated records and came closer to the Women's Super League title
Chelsea came from behind to keep their unbeaten status in the Barclays Women's Super League thanks to a 2-1 victory over Manchester City. It clearly keeps Chelsea eight points at the top despite 4-0 wins for both Arsenal and Manchester United.
Leicester City claimed their relegation fears with a Gutsy 3-2 victory over Brighton, while Everton Crystal Palace defeated Side 3-0 and West Ham passed Spurs with 2-0.
Undefeated blues
Chelsea produced the perfect response to their first defeat of the season with a comeback 2-1 victory against Manchester City.
The blues were hit for the first time in all matches in midweek, while Vivianne Miedema struck twice to help City to a 2-0 win in the first stage of their Champions League equal game. It seemed that City would make it two victories in a row when Kerolin marked a great first half with a goal just after half an hour.
It could have been two, only for Jess Park to see her strike run away after the whistle had blown a second earlier for a fault on Kerolin, which made the city less than impressed. Chelsea hit back by Aggie Beever-Jones just after the break, and despite a strong second half of Khiara Keating, Cuthbert got the winner in the second half of the stopping time.
Arsenal takes revenge
Arsenal ran their FA Cup defeat to Liverpool with a poldering 4-0 win over the Reds at the Emirates. The 1-0 defeat of the Gunners earlier in March ended anything but their trophy-hops on the season, but the side of Renee Sleersers responded in a ruthless way.
Caitlin Foord opened the score for less than half an hour before Jasmine Matthews's own goal doubled the lead a minute later. Mariona Caldentey made it 3-0 just before the break, and a different goal of Matthews after the break had sealed an emphatic victory.
United Penal Sorry Villa
Manchester United also bounced back from the defeat to Liverpool with a 4-0 demolition of Aston Villa. An Elisabeth Terland Double brought United under control in the first half before Grace Clinton made three at the rest of the break.
Leah Galton closed the victory just after the hour to ensure that United keeps pace with Arsenal and to open a seven -point gap for Manchester City in the race for European qualification.
The defeat continues the struggles of Aston Villa, with Natalia Arroyo still without a victory as a manager. The Villans remain only one point above the relegation zone and are confronted with back-to-back traveling to Liverpool and traces in desperate needs.
Foxes stimulate survival opportunities
Leicester City got six points from the vicinity of the drop with a 3-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
The foxes were forced to endure a nervy last ten minutes, even though they were 3-0 during the break, when two second half strikes saw the visitors stealing almost one point. Shannon O'Brien opened the score after 12 minutes and the first goal of Saori Takarada of the season doubled the lead after 35 minutes.
Rachel McLauchlan's own goal just before the break, the foxes brought full control before Brighton launched a late comeback. Madison Haley got one back for the visitors with just over 15 minutes before Yuka Momiki missed a chance to seal all three points of the place for the hosts.
Fran Kirby did not make a mistake with her punishment for Brighton to reduce the shortage to one, but Leicester held up for a big three points.
Toffees Palace Palace
Everton stroked Crystal Palace along the bottom with a comfortable 3-0 win. Justine Vanhaevermaet placed the toffees first during the break before Sara Holmgaard scored immediately after the restart. Kelly Gago sealed the victory late to lift Everton 10 points, free from Palace at the bottom of the table.
Palace keeps Palace rooted at the foot of the table and is confronted with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City under their last five games, which means that home games against West Ham and Leicester can be crucial for their chances of survival.
Hammers pass by traces
West Ham continued their strong recent form with a 2-0 win over London Rivals Spurs.
Josefine Rybrink's own goal brought the hammers ahead early in the first half and Viviane Asseyi sealed the victory in the second half. The three points mean that West Ham almost guaranteed safety, partly thanks to their recent impressions that the hammers have also seen beating Brighton and Draw with Manchester City.
The defeat was the fifth loss of spurs in a row, and although they are probably safe against the drop, Robert Vilahamn will want his side to turn their shape and finishes the season strongly.
