Chelsea offered Veiga to Juventus at set price before loan compromise

Juve took the Portugal International on-Loan for the rest of the season.

However, TMW says that Chelsea initially offered Veiga to Juve for a price of € 33 million – Plus bonuses.

Juve considered the appreciation to be too rich and instead insisted on the loan option, with which Chelsea eventually agreed.

Juve pays € 5 million to hire Veiga, with negotiations on a permanent transfer to be discussed in June.
