Chelsea has opened conversations to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, according to a report.
Kolo Muani joined the French side of Eintracht Frankfurt for £ 76 million in 2023, but struggled for regular playing time.
The 26-year-old moved to Juventus on loan in January and flourished in Italy with 10 goals in 20 performances in all competitions.
Juventus is said to keep the attacker who scored a brace in their 5-1 win over Al -Aain in the club World Cup.
However, they are confronted with competition from Chelsea, who, according to L'Equipe, have entered into negotiations to sign Kolo Muani.
The side of Enzo Maresca has already strengthened their attack this summer with the £ 30 million arrival of Liam Delap from Ipswich.
The interest of the blues in Kolo Muani comes in the midst of doubts about the future of Nicolas Jackson on Stamford Bridge.
Jackson has led the line for Chelsea in the past seasons and scored 30 goals in 80 performances in all competitions.
However, he has criticized fans and experts because of his lack of efficiency for goal, as well as his poor discipline, which was sent in Chelsea's 3-1 loss for Flamengo in the club World Cup.
Only a month ago the Premier League season of Jackson ended prematurely when he was sent on 11 May for a similar challenge against Newcastle and handed over a ban of three games.
And Obi Mikel, who worked as an expert for Dazn, did not stop when he was asked about the last incident.
“(It was) incredible. Stupid, stupid, stupid mistake, “said Obi Mikel won two Premier League titles and the Champions League with Chelsea.
“I don't know what's going through his head. You come into play, you are 2-1 at that time. Your team needs you. And he does that.
“He did it in a league match in Newcastle. Again, a very important competition that we had to win to qualify for the Champions League. He did that, he got a red card. And now he has done this. You can't keep making mistakes. '
But it was when host Ke Lysomers suggested that Jackson's frustration might have been cooked from frustration about losing his place to defeat that Obi Mikel really lost his cool.
“I don't care what his frustration is,” Obi Mikel responded angry.
“It's a football club. It is a huge football club and it is about competition. If you release that Delap comes to the football club and he will be the competition with you … you have to embrace it if you are a big player.
“Because the only way you will win trophies when you compete against each other.”
It was on this point that Somers was forced to say sorry to viewers for the language of her guest.
“A lot of emotion in the studio, so apologies for every there that is used there,” she said, both hands from in a calming gesture to Obi Mikel.
After the game, Jackson went to social media to apologize for his actions. He said writing on Instagram: “I want to say sorry. For the club, the staff, my teammates and all the fans who watch, I will let you down. Another red card … And to be honest I am so angry with myself.
'I work hard every day to help the team not place us in situations like this. I still don't quite understand how it happened. But one thing is clear: it was not intentional. Just a football moment that went the wrong way. No apologies. I take full responsibility.
'I will think, I will grow, and I will come back stronger for the badge and for everyone who believes in me. Sorry. Sorry.'
