Enzo Maresca has the support of the Chelsea board -despite an alarming malaise post -Christmas.
The blues placed a miserable display on Friday evening because they were beaten 3-0 by Brighton.
Chelsea did not succeed in gathering a single shot on goal when they drop in a third loss in four games.
The side of Maresca seemed to be involved only two months ago in an unlikely title race.
But a serious slide since the turn of the year, she has only had 12 points taken from a possible 30.
And they continue to show a persistent form of travel sickness, without a victory since 8 December.
A frustrated Maresca called the Brighton debacle the “worst performance” since he arrived in the summer.
He added: “This is the worst moment since I arrived, but we are still there and we have to end in the best way.”
