Chelsea ratings: Sancho shines, Jackson shows why Blues are looking for new No.9

Jadon Sancho saved Chelsea's blushes when the side of Enzo Maresca came from behind to draw.

Due to relegation, Ipswich went flat with Chelsea after 31 minutes with Chelsea during the first half.

They started immediately after the break when Axel Tuanzebe bundled a Noni Madueke cross in the back of his own net under pressure from Marc Cucurella.

Chelsea should have been a goal for good, but Nicolas Jackson picked his lines – a well -known story this season.

The blues were stuck from the field after their first half, but Sancho relieved his teammates after he had unleashed a brilliant curly effort in the upper corner.

Chelsea came to the fixture after he had won each of their last five Premier League matches on Stamford Bridge, but failed to build Momentum after their midweek victory in Warsaw.

Cole Palmer still delivered a weak achievement, but Fernandez continued his recent impressive form, while Sancho shone from the bank.

A victory would have pushed Chelsea to fourth place, a point for the ruling champion Manchester City, but a draw leaves the side of Enzo Maresca in the fifth.

Here is how Sunssport's Conor Jones rated the blues -display …

Robert Sanchez – 4

The keeper had a quiet first half, but did not succeed in stopping one of the goals and his distribution was bad.

The Spaniard was very little compared to the second half when his side dominated the property and looked much more dangerous.

Trevoh Chalobah – 4

Highly pushed to support Madueke and forced a salvation by Alex Palmer in the first half with a low, driven strike, but it was a routine stop.

The defender was in default in the second goal where he was pulled out of position and failed to win a header over George Hirst, which eventually led to the Enciso Cross and Johnson's header on the back post.

Chalobah was then moved in the middle during the break and treated IPSWICH's counterattacks reasonably well, so that Liam Delap denied a shot on goal shortly after he came up.

Tosin Adarabioyo – 5

The defender had a quiet game and will be disappointed that they admitted two at home after they had kept a clean sheet at Legia Warsaw.

Tosin did not offer a threat to set pieces and was part of Chelsea's worst period of 45 minutes of the game.

Made room for Malo Gusto in the second half, with Trevor Chalobah transferred to the middle of half.

Levi Colwill – 5

Started clearly and played a brilliant pass through the lines of a free kick that Enzo Fernandez found in half space.

Succeeded in finding himself open in the Ipswich Box for a free header that the back of the net should have found, but instead can be added to the list of missed opportunities for the blues on the day.

As a group, Chelsea placed a bad display on the back and allowed visitors to take advantage of their mistakes.

Ultimately, the Englishman will be disappointed about the performance of his backline, especially after a midweek in the clean leaf.

Marc Cucurella – 6

The Spanish full-back was on his usual tricks on Sunday and rolled in pain to win a free kick in the first half that led to ruthless anger of the traveling support.

The defensive version of the Spaniard did not match his theatrics, because he was caught on the back foot for the opening goal of Enciso and was then beaten at the rear post for Johnson's header and the second of Ipswich.

Cucurella came from the blocks that shot in the second half and was in the box to bundle the cross of Home Madueke, with the help of Tuanzebe.

He was generally dangerous and caused Ipswich more problems than most front line of the blues.

Moises Caicedo – 5

Did not play particularly badly, but was part of a midfield that was caught on the break for both goals.

Protected his back four with more consistency in the second half, but has recycled the ball well and regained possession on different occasions.

Must offer more in the future when his side has trouble creating.

Enzo Fernandez – 7

Enzo was positive and drove the blues attack during the first half, ran well together with Madueke and eagerly pressed Palmer.

The Argentinian corresponded to his attacking working speed at the back and tried to drive his team into the field with every property.

The midfielder wanted to make shots and when his side was struggling, he was the only player who showed signs to turn things around.

Noni Madueke – 6

Madueke was an early threat on the right and enthusiastically pressed the back line of the tractor Boys, but his day was determined by missed opportunities.

An awkward volley almost crawled past Palmer near the Near Post, but Ipswich fans were relieved to see it nesting in the outer net.

The winger could not convert again in the last ten minutes of the first half after Palmer slid into Cucurella and the Spaniard delivered a dangerous cut that he created in Row Z, but the assist supplied to start the comeback.

Cole Palmer – 4

Palmer started quietly, but went up for about 15 minutes in the first half when he played with the backline of Ipswich before he combined well with Pedro Neto to bubble a ball over the six-year line.

Yet the young attacker looked hesitant and lack of trust, because he was unable to show the murderous decision -making and talent that we saw in the first half of the season.

If the Englishman hoped that this luminaire could be the turning point in a run of flat form, he was wrong.

Pedro Neto – 6

Hectares found space on the right flank, but did not succeed in capitalizing despite countless balls in the box and consistent possibilities to cut on his right foot.

Came near a volley of the edge of the area in the second half and took his performance, but was still lacking the cutting edge.

The winger had half a chance to win the game with a difficult volley in the box, but could only cut the ball high and wide.

Nicolas Jackson – 4

Jackson showed signs of life, but was kept silent by Dara O'Shea and committed to looking at strikers that came the summer transfer window.

The attacker should have been scored in the eighth minute of the game after Enzo played a dangerous ball over the box from the right, but he could only hit the pole.

The Senegalese attacker lost the physical struggle with the backline of Ipswich and was unable to offer in a dangerous outlet during the break, where his side looked the most dangerous.

Subs

Malo Gusto – 5

Start replacing and offer a conventional full-back on the right side that helped the stability of the home team in the second half.

Well reversed and helped to recycle the ball around the edge of the area and offer itself to the right flank.

Jadon Sancho – 7

Came up and scored a beautiful equalizer, but did not have many opportunities to influence the game outside of his goal.

In general, Maresca could not ask much more and Sancho saved a point before his side.

Christopher Nunku – 5

Has had no impact in his few minutes on the field.
