Chelsea is expected to be active in the coming summer transfer window and a young star has set all his sights on an exit in the midst of interest in the championship
International Leo Castledine under 19 years old from England probably seems to get a championship movement this summer with Chelsea ready to have the young midfielder permanent leave to regularly pursue first team football elsewhere.
Castledine, 19, was picked up by the blues after he had come through the ranks in AFC Wimbledon and remains highly conceived by the newly beaten Europa Conference League champions, who handed him his senior debut in the semi-final of last year's Carabao Cup.
But Castledine wants to play regularly and, with Chelsea who is willing to punish a permanent exit, has no shortage of interests of clubs in the championship prior to the transfer window.
This season, Castledine drew in the League One in the League One in League One before a back injury limited his campaign in February. In total he appeared 26 performances for Salop and scored twice.
Chelsea is expected to be active in the transfer window with a lot of income and expenses that are expected. Castledine joined the blues in March 2020 at the age of only 14 of Wimbledon before signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2022.
He is the son of the former midfielder of Wimbledon Stewart Castledine, who represented the Southwest Londonians between 1991 and 2000.
Chelsea is expected to discharge a number of players at the end of the campaign, including some of those who have spent the 2024-25 season on loan.
Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell and Armando Broja belong to those who will be moved, suitable offers must arrive while others can join them. In terms of income, Chelsea is harmed to sign a striker and are in the mix for Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
