Benoît Badiashile (23) has made ten starts for Chelsea this season, but only two of those came in the Premier League. Six have come in the UEFA Europa Conference League, a competition in which Enzo Maresca has chosen to field a kind of B team.
Currently, Badiashile plays second fiddle to Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill, meaning opportunities are limited for the Frenchman, who has failed to really establish himself in the backline since joining Chelsea from formative club AS Monaco of the Blues.
However, Chelsea are not willing to listen to offers for Badiashile in January. Juventus and a “top club” in Ligue 1 (Olympique de Marseille, according to a separate Nice-Matin report) have made approaches for the centre-back, according to a report from RMC Sport. However, after showing his qualities in the Europa Conference League, he has convinced his manager that he can count on him. A departure in January is therefore not possible.
