Chelsea has a lot of decisions to make the make-up of their team, especially about the future of Jadon Sancho with his loan from Manchester United, which will end next month
Chelsea was told to go through a deal for Jadon Sancho after their success of the Conference League. The blues increased the title on Wednesday evening when they really overcome the Spanish side with 4-1.
Sancho, 25, came from the bank to score in the victory of Chelsea. It was his second European goal this period, the On-Loan Manchester United-Man who also delivers five assists in the action of the conference.
Chelsea is now confronted with a decision about his future. As it looks now, they are set to pay £ 25 million to sign him permanently from United, although they can pay a fine of £ 5 million to withdraw that deal. Ex-Chelsea star Joe Cole has given his opinion and claimed that Sancho had to be held at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking on TNT sports, he said: “I think Jadon is really a great player and I think he did well. He has turned in and out a bit, but I want to see Jadon playing. You want such a player in your team. It will come up with a financial decision that I propose, but I really like him.”
In total, Sancho scored five goals and provided ten assists during the Chelsea campaign. Asked if the winger had contributed enough to earn a permanent step, Cole replied: “Yes, I do.
“This is a child who went to Dortmund and was a superstar as a child. It didn't work at Man United, but he did it well, he has his career back on Rails on Chelsea. I think more will come from him.”
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has already given an idea in the future of Sancho in the long term. The Italian suggested that there is still a decision that should be made when it comes to him, and a whole series of other players.
He said: “I don't know. I said you asked me to different players in the last few weeks, I always said the same thing. And the reason why is because it's the truth.

“It's not the moment we have tomorrow, final. Then in 24 hours, 48 hours we will talk about the future. But at the moment there is no thought or a decision about Jadon or different players.”
Sancho probably doesn't seem to have a future with Man United if Ruben Amorim stays in the club. He still has just over a year on his contract with Old Trafford.
