Chelsea talks to sign defender wanted by LIV and Arsenal CONFIRMED by his agent

Chelsea is in conversation to sign a high review Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, who is also interesting for Arsenal and Liverpool.

Hato, 19, is one of the most promising Dutch players who have come through for some time and has already had more than 100 games under his belt for the Amsterdam giants.

And now his agent Humphry Nijman has confirmed to De Telegraaf that the Wonderkid is about to talk to the blues.

When asked, he replied: “The only thing I can say is that Jorrel is now talking to Chelsea.”

Hato is a left back that can also play in central defense – with Liverpool also interested after the departure of Jarrell Quansah.

He is a name on the radar of Arne Slot and Co, as reported by Lewis Steele van Mail Sport, while Arsenal also followed him closely.

But it now seems as if Enzo Maresca's Chelsea is stealing a march on their rivals for his signature.

Chelsea has already made a splash in the transfer market and signs Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Estevao.

Noni Madueke's £ 52 million move to Arsenal and the enormous victory in the club's world cup helped the treasury.

Ajax is thought that the Hato appreciates £ 60 million in the region, so it would be another important edition for the Stamford Bridge Club.

This summer Hato played for the Dutch side at the Euro Under 21s tournament, where she lost 2-1 to England in the semi-final.

Liverpool is interested in Crystal Palace and England star Marc Guehi, who will be a free agent next summer.

That could pave the way for the blues to have a clear run at Hato, who can offer cover to Marc Cucurella on the left or challenge for a starting role in the heart of the defense.

Arsenal is also well filled in the defensive department, with Gabriel, William Saliba, Riccardo Calafiori and incoming Crithian Mosquera, who is expected to participate in £ 17 million.
