Chelsea tell Man Utd what it will cost to complete Christopher Nkunku transfer

The Chelsea striker wants to leave Stamford Bridge after being frustrated under Enzo Maresca, and he is excess for the requirements after the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer.

Manchester United has been quoted £ 35 million to sign Chelsea striker Christopher Nunku.

This summer, United Nunku has on their shortlist of Spits goals with Chelsea who canceled a big hit on the player they signed for £ 52 million only two years ago.

Nunku, 27, is surplus for the requirements at Chelsea after they bought Joao Pedro and Liam Delap this summer for a combined £ 90 million and they are set to complete a £ 55 million deal for Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund while they have spent great.

But they will also have to discharge players this summer after Chelsea was clamped by UEFA with a fine of £ 78.5 million for violating spending rules. A large part of the fine – £ 51 million – has been suspended, but Chelsea still has to be satisfactory and are now deleted for a great clarity this summer.

France International Nunku is on the Radar of United and is an option, although they have also considered Aston Villas Ollie Watkins as a different target.

United wants to discharge Alejandro Garnacho, which in the past has been a Chelsea goalkeeping, but they can clearly be impeded by the finances and must be in accordance with UEFA's penalty.

That could have opened the door to a potential swap, but Chelsea may have to look at more straight sale and reduce their team figures.

They have a wealth of attackers with Nicolas Jackson, also in their books and his disciplinary record – sent at the end of the Premier League season and in the club World Cup – made him something of liability.

Brazil star Pedro can play as a center -striker or wide and his arrival has only increased the chance of the departure of Nunku.

Although the ex-RB Leipzig striker may not be at the top of the United list, it might be a cut option, especially since they are looking for a deal for Bryan Mbeumo that Matheus Cunha has already drawn from Wolves.
