Deportivo La Coruna has a gem with the 22-year-old talent Yeremay Hernandez. Yeremay first entered the consciousness of European scouts last season in Primera RFEF and has been a standout in Segunda since Depor won promotion.
A host of clubs are interested in taking Yeremay off Deportivo's hands, and Chelsea are among those who have made a bid for him. The Blues are willing to pay €10 million plus bonuses for Yeremay, as well as swap one of their academy talents for his exciting talents. However, Deportivo's sporting director has publicly commented that 'we are clear, he will only go if they pay the clause', Marca reports.
Chelsea would then loan him to RC Strasbourg in France, but AC Milan, Newcastle United and Manchester City are also interested. Las Palmas were also keen to bring him back to the Canary Islands, but they could be muscled up.
This season, Yeremay has scored eight goals and three assists for Deportivo in 18 appearances, testament to his key contributions in the final third for the promoted giants. The Galician side are keeping their heads above water, four points and two places above the relegation zone in Segunda, and were hoping to keep him for the rest of the season.
