Chelsea top future squad value list after £1.5B spent since 2022

No football club has seen more domestic minutes played under contract than Chelsea by at least 2026, has revealed a report.

The side of Enzo Maresca impressively has had 91.8 percent of their 'minutes secured' this season by players under contract for at least 12 months, according to data from Cies Voetbal Observatory.

The figure shows that the blues are well protected for the future, whether it is due to their young team that continues to develop for a number of years or the sale of stars under contract.

Chelsea came at the top of an analysis of 37 competition all over the world and finished closely for Ligue 1 -side Monaco and Eredivisie -Outfit AZ Alkmaar at 91.3 and 89.2 percent respectively.

It is no surprise to see that the blues in these most unique statistics are at the forefront, given their extraordinary decision to distribute long-term contracts to young players, because the Boehly-Clearlake Consortium bought the side in 2022.

Just as with the current classification, both Leicester City and Southampton are in the lower three, with percentages of 55.2 and 56.1 respectively.

It can spell bad news for the parties that could see a maximum exodus this summer once their immediate return to the championship has been confirmed.

Elsewhere Ligue 1 champion Paris Saint-Germain is in fourth place among clubs in Europe's Big Five Leagues for 'Minutes Secured' with a percentage of 87.9 percent. The French club has made a joint effort to renew their approach in the past seasons, which runs of high -quality expensive signing sessions in favor of younger locally born selection.
