Chelsea transfer news: Talks over double deal increase as Blues battle Liverpool

Chelsea is set for a busy end of the transfer window in January, with various potential incomes and expenditure on the cards.

The side of Enzo Maresca is currently sixth in the Premier League, only one point of the top four, and they also still compete in the FA Cup and the UEFA Conference League. So far there has been little movement in the January window, despite the blues who want to send a number of margin players.

Renato Veiga has joined Juventus on loan for the rest of the campaign, while young people have completed Zain Silcott-Duberry and Kai Crampton permanent movements to Bournemouth. With all that in mind, Mirror Football looks a look at Het Laatste Nieuws and the rumors about the club.

Villa in Disasi interviews

Aston Villa is in conversation with Chelsea about a loan movement for Axel Disasi, with Unai Emery who wants to bring defensive reinforcements after the sale of Diego Carlos to Fenerbahce.

So far, Disasi has only made four competition -start -start and is supposed to give preference to a move to villa, despite interest from clubs in Italy and other Premier League teams such as Wolves. Personal conditions are a formality, but a loan allowance and salary coverage remains in discussion.

Disasi came to Chelsea from Monaco in 2023 for £ 38.5 million and he scored on his debut when the blues 1-1 pulled with Liverpool. The 26-year-old signed a long-term agreement and is under contract until 2029.

Felix -Interest

Villa also fueled their interest in Joao Felix, which they tried to sign last summer before he made the switch to Chelsea.

However, Felix has struggled for playing time under Maresca and De Zon now reports that Villa is watching a movement for the former Atletico Madrid star. The report states that they can 'host' their interest before the January window is closed.

However, it is still to be seen whether the deal would be permanent or a loan, because that depends on whether Villa can close a Deal for Disasi.

Liverpool Battle

Slavia Prague Chief Jaroslav TVvdik says that Chelsea and Liverpool are the clubs that are interested in wing-back El Hadji Malick Diouf.

Tvrdik told Media-Outlet Kudy Bezi Zajic: “If Liverpool and Chelsea, who were also interested in him, had come an offer of approximately 17-18 million euros, I would have hesitated to approach it differently than the perspective of promoting the club or the interest of the player.

“If Chelsea comes, we would not keep anyone. Nothing will change, it is simply not possible objective. It must be admitted that the Czech competition and Slavia have some limits. Even PSG, when it comes to breaking the bank, it won't Keep their player and he goes to Real.
