Chelsea’s Benoît Badiashile attracting Marseille interest

Benoît Badiashile, 23, has struggled to really establish himself since joining Chelsea from AS Monaco in January 2023, but has started the last two Premier League games amid interest from the continent.

Under new manager Enzo Marsesca, Badiashile has enjoyed something of a breakthrough despite making just two Premier League appearances. So far this season, the Frenchman has made ten appearances in all competitions. He recently said he wanted to stay at Chelsea, but that doesn't mean there isn't interest elsewhere.

Monaco Matin has attracted interest from Olympique de Marseille, who showed interest in his teammate and compatriot Wesley Fofana last summer. Juventus, who are in the market for a centre-back this winter, have also been touted as a potential destination, while Foot Mercato has attracted interest from several Bundesliga and Serie A clubs. However, despite pursuits from several clubs, Badiashile is likely to stay at Chelsea in January.
