Chelsea’s estranged owners in rare agreement as they make major stadium decision

Chairman Todd Boehly has called for solidarity in the boardroom about plans for the tight stadium of the club.

Sunsport can reveal that co-owner Behdad Eghbali has set aside his business differences with Boehly to prefer a total reconstruction lane to the redevelopment of the existing stadium.

“That would mean between five and seven years away – and where can they play?”

Chelsea temporarily watched Wembley, as Tottenham did almost two seasons between 2017 and 2019.

The court of the nearby Earl has also been disputed as a possible relocation place, as well as the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham, the HQ of England, the HQ of English rugby.

The Chelsea sign recently bought flats behind the West Stand, but is still stuck in a rut about how to bring their land up -to -date.

One end is based on a tube line and the famous barn end is bordered by two hotels.

Our club source added: “Earl's Court is one of the few places in the area with available land, but there are several organizations with interests in it.”

Then Silver, board member of the Chelsea supporters' Trust, said: “If Stamford Bridge has to be demolished, I hope it will be done in a reasonable time frame. The club must increase the income.”
