Arsenal are strong favorites to sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea this summer, but he will not leave Stamford Bridge cheaply.
Madueke, 23, was a first team under Enzo Maresca last season. He played in 32 of the 38 Premier League matches of Chelsea – starting in 27 of them – and produced seven goals and three assists.
With Liam Delap, Kendry Paez, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian, however, all come for the 2025-26 campaign, Chelsea is now being surpassed in the position of Madueke.
Personal conditions between Arsenal and Madueke have already been agreed, with journalist Fabrizio Romano claiming that both parties have established a five -year contract until June 2030.
But Arsenal still has an offer for Madueke who is formally accepted by Chelsea.
According to the Telegraph, Chelsea has set a minimum asking price of £ 50 million and hope to become considerably more than that figure.
A transfer costs above £ 50 million would give Chelsea a big profit on a player for which they paid £ 26 million when he came to PSV Eindhoven in January 2023.
Madueke signed a seven and a half year contract upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
This summer Arsenal made no secret of their desire to recruit offensive reinforcements and is also linked to the sporty Lisbon target Viktor Gyokores and Rodrygo from Real Madrid.
The Gunners scored 69 Premier League goal-22 last season less than in the 2023-24 campaign.
Madueke helped Chelsea to win the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and he hopes to add the FIFA Club World Cup to his list of distinctions before he leaves.
Chelsea will play Fluminense on Tuesday in the semi -final of the club World Cup. The winners of that game will be confronted in the final with Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain.
