Chelsea’s plans for Mathis Amougou and Andrey Santos revealed

Although it is not officially confirmed by Chelsea or as Saint-Étienne, Mathis Amougou (19) can now be considered a Chelsea player, according to Fabrizio Romano.

A deal between the two clubs for a reimbursement of € 15 million was agreed on the Deadline Day of the transfer. Unlike reports, Amougou will not go to become a member of partner Club RC Strasbourg Alsace. With the transfer window now closed, that is now an impossibility.

As a result, Amougou will stay in Chelsea for the next three months and continue its development with the Premier League side with a view to a loan movement to Strasbourg for next season. Andrey Santos (20) will make the trip. Towards the end of the season, the Brazilian will have spent 18 months with Les ASaciens and he has made considerable progress at that time.

Romano understands that although Amougou goes to Strasbourg to become a regular starter, Santos returns to partner Club Chelsea with a view to the midfielder who is integrated into the first team setup at Stamford Bridge.
