Christian Norgaard is convinced that Brentford can call 'something magic' at the end of the season.
The bees moved to eighth place thanks to the 18th minute goal of Kevin Schade and that can – but perhaps – be sufficient to be eligible for a Europa Conference League place on Sunday 25 May.
“It's so nice to play something at this stage of the season,” said Captain Norgaard, the midfielder of Denmark.
“There are many teams that are not so great that we can make these special moments and these 'finals' will enter the last part of the season – and hopefully we made something magical at the end.”
However, the dream can be anything but over, but if that eighth place will disappear if Crystal Palace wins the FA Cup on Saturday.
The side of Thomas Frank is certainly the shape side in a four -sided struggle for eighth place, with Brighton, Bournemouth and the opponents on Sunday still in the mix.
Damage's header from a corner that had to be taken three times earned a fourth consecutive victory, which is their best run of victories in the top flight since 1939.
It was also their seventh way victory in the last nine – a huge upgrade to the form of the early season, so that they lost seven of the eight.
“We really found a good shape, especially this second part of the season, with which we struggled at the start of the season,” added Norgaard.
Ipswich fans were irritated that the purpose of damage came at a time when referee Sam Barrott seemed to have lost control at a set piece where players from both sides struggled each other repeatedly in the box.
That remained during the game, with VAR that made long checks, but the already related city made it a game, which forced bee keeper Mark Fleaks in a series of rescues.
Ipswich Keeper Alex Palmer said about the constant stopping for the goal: 'We can't get frustrated. The referees and officials have to do their own work, we just try to stay focused and try to defend. '
