Manchester City Striker Divin Mubama is a target for the city of Ipswich.
The city's preference is that the 20-year-old goes on loan, although Ipswich is supposed to be enthusiastic in a permanent transfer.
With Liam Delap on the way to Chelsea, Ipswich had asked Chelsea to put Marc Guiu into loan earlier this month. The Spanish striker must still be convinced, so Ipswich asked another option with Mubama after he ended the season with 15 goals.
Mubama, who came to City last year after leaving West Ham, could still be involved in the plans of the City's World Club Cup, because they want to include a number of young people.
City also accelerates conversations with AC Milan for Tijjan Reijnders and with Lyon for Rayan Cherki with a view to refreshing their team for the tournament in the US next month. Their opening match is against Wydad AC on June 18.
However, some players do not know for sure if they are still part of the team.
Pep Guardiola also shuffles its back room team. While Ben Wilkinson will come up from the U21s for the American tournament, City weighs the merits of other coaching contenders with people like Kolo Toure and former Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders in the mix.
