Sean O'Malley thinks Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen is much closer than most people think.
The next UFC Bantamweight title fight is 'Sugar' free as champion Merab Dvalishvili defends his belt against top candidate Cory Sandhagen in the CO-Main event of UFC 320 on 4 October in Las Vegas.
Dvalishvili then considered Champion Sean O'Malley on UFC 306 last September and has since defended the belt twice this year against the unbeaten Umar Nurmagomedov on UFC 311 and O'Malley in a rematch on UFC 316 in June.
Sandhagen ended up a title candidate at UFC des Moines when he was a former two -time flight weight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in two rounds.
On a 13-field profit reak, DvalishHvili seems to be a considerable favorite against Sandhagen, who lost to Nurmagomedov last August.
O'Malley has given his two cent on the recently announced title fight.

Sean O'Malley tends to Merab Dvalishvili about Cory Sandhagen in UFC 320 prediction
Dvalishvili vs. Sandhagen is more than your average striker versus grappler matchup, because Sandhagen is very well rounded and shown in his fight against Rob Font that he can struggle five rounds.
Of course DvalishVili is the best grappler in the division, also equipped with the best cardio, making it such a heavy matchup.
“How do I see that fight playing?” Said O'Malley on his YouTube channel.
“I fought with Merab twice, hit him once, lost once from him … I just make a joke.
“Cory has really struggling scrambling. He did really well against Umar. He kept his hips high. He was able to clamber very well. I would not say that he was really gassed, but he certainly got a little tired, while Merab just doesn't get tired.
“If Cory is good at home in the 50-50 [position]Het Beenpel – I am curious if he is climbing that way, perhaps a few submissions threaten to where Merab becomes uncomfortable and maybe shoot less.
“It's hard for me to pack my head,” said O'Malley about who will win between Dvalishvili vs. Sandhagen.
“I think it's off – mint is flip. I think if I had to guess, I feel like Merab,” said O'Malley.
“If Merab goes outside and grabs him, I think Cory will be surprised how strong that little Georgian feels.
“But also, I could be completely wrong. Cory could go outside and hit some beautiful scrambling and make Merab look crazy,” O'Malley added.
Cody Garbrandt Eyes Pay-per-View Fight with Sean O'Malley
Former UFC Bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt still wants a piece of 'Sugar' Sean O'Malley.
The former champions have been going on for a while, almost almost collide with the UFC 269 press conference in 2021.
Even after losing to Deiveson Figueiredo and Raoni Barcelos, the Non -Garbrandt believes that he is still within reach of combating the #1 competition O'Malley.
“I would love to record F – He,” Garbrandt told MMA Fighting's Mike Heck.
“He just always talks -. I think he has a crush with me. He is so jealous of me and I can't believe he became world champion.
“He can't struggle for a lick, can't defend a Takedown. I mean, Merab has bullied him straight. But he calls me out forever, so I was done to fight that guy.
“If that is the next fight that they want to do, I think that will be a great pay-per-view fight, a good drawing,” Garbrandt added.
Garbrandt is 3-7 in his last 10 fights since Dethrone Dominick Cruz to become the UFC Bantamweight Champion in 2016.
