Colby Covington says that Jon Jones wants $ 40-50 million for Tom Aspinall Fight

Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall is undoubtedly the most desired fight in all mixed martial arts.

Colby Covington, however, is adamant to demand unrealistic wallet and eventually put his gloves before he ever puts foot in the octhoek with the interim champion.

In an episode of Red Hawk Recap, the polarizing athlete said: 'I don't think Jon is fighting him. I think he will dive and retire.

“They absolutely try to make it happen, but you have heard that interview with Aspinall. He says:” I am done talking about Jon, they will not get this fight, until it is signed, I don't want to talk about it anymore.

“Jon dives; he tries to ask for an unreasonable price. You can't ask for $ 40 or $ 50 million. You don't go to the company like that. I think he's retiring before he fights Asinall.”

Jon Jones will break a heavyweight record from Cain Velasquez if Tom Aspinall Fight is delayed by six months

So far, Jones has had a somewhat disappointing run in heavyweight. While everyone was desperate to see him go with Francis Ngannou in front of the title, he finished opposite Ciryl Gane.

Then, instead of defending the belt against Aspinall, he finally accepted a past-prime-stipe Miocic.

But regardless of what people think, the icon is still about to write history.

Currently, Jones is only six months away from breaking a record by Cain Velasquez.
