Colby Covington’s awkward run in with Kamaru Usman caught on camera at UFC Vegas 102

The two former rivals competed twice for the Welterweight title in the Octagon.

Colby Covington has had his part of rivals during his UFC official period, but there is only a man he has participated several times.

Two of his three welterweight title shots met Kamaru Usman with the first to take place in the main event of UFC 245 in December 2019 in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

After 'the Nigerian nightmare' successfully defended the title by putting 'Chaos' in the fifth round, they ran their first heated meeting back on UFC 268 in Madison Square Garden two years later where Usman again came to the top.

Both men have helped to define each other's career, but where once a tense rivalry was, now seems to be a mutual respect between them as seen in a recent exchange.

Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman share an uncomfortable exchange during a live stream

Colby Covington has recently streamed live, which meant that the former interim champion welterweight conquered a recent exchange with his former enemy.

'Chaos' was present for UFC Vegas 102 last weekend, where Kamaru Usman happened to be in the fighting capital of the world.

During the recent stream of Covington, 'The Nigerian nightmare' passed by before he was briefly stopped by his former challenger.

They then shared a fast and somewhat uncomfortable exchange when Usman seemed to be too much at that time to stop and talk.

Covington then explained to his LiveChat why he believes that the former Weltergeweight champion did not take a moment to get into the stream.

'Yes, that was Usman guys, he just said:' Hey man, we are going to talk a little. I don't think he wanted to talk to the current, he didn't want the chat to hear what he had to say, but yes, we'll certainly chop it a little, maybe we'll get a photo or maybe we will just fight, you know it never. When 'Chaos' is in the building, it is unpredictable. “

Colby Covington burned his honest part of the bridges during his career

It is surprising that Kamaru Usman would stop completely to exchange polite features with Colby Covington, given their earlier rivalry that became personal on points.

It is quite common in combat sports for a resentment to come to an end after two competitors meet, but 'chaos' has a track record for the beef that remains your period.

With both earlier opponents and former teammates, there are arguments that Covington has made with his waste and persona who are not as easy as shaking hands and saying goodbye.

If it was one of his welterweight rivals that passed by at that time, the power could have taken a very dramatic turn.
