Chelsea star Cole Palmer delighted fans after delivering a bone interview after the Blues Triumph in the Conference League final.
Palmer had produced a man of the game in the final and gave two assists when Chelsea came from behind to beat Real Betis 4-1 in Wroclow.
Chelsea had left 1-0 during the break, but Palmer set goals for Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson in a five-minute period to turn the game around.
After the last whistle, Palmer joined Chelsea captain Reece James in an interview after the game with TNT Sports.
While James offered insight into the blues, his role and feelings about starting the final on the couch, Palmer offered blunt answers to questions.
When asked how he found room to deliver the assists in the second half, Palmer replied 'Erm … I don't know. I tried to find space when the game started. And yes. '
Palmer was then asked how it felt that Chelsea had become the only club that won all three European trophies – the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
“Being the only team in history is a great feeling,” Palmer replied. “So yes.”
The Ster Chelsea and England then refused to answer whether to secure Champions League qualification and winning the title of the League conference was a successful season for the club.
“Ask the captain,” Palmer said with a nod to James.
Palmer would offer a little more insight into his performance in a press conference after the game when asked about his two assists.
“I was tired of getting the ball and going backwards and sideways, I thought when I got the next ball, I go,” said Palmer.
Palmer's blunt post-match interviews are delighted in countless Chelsea fans on social media, who again emphasized his lack of answers to questions.
“Pundits and journalists simply should never interview Cole Palmer,” wrote a fan. “Guy is not interested in talking to them and it's glorious.

Palmer, however, was considered by one fan to give the 'worst post-final winning interview in sports history'.
