Cole Palmer scowls at reporter’s question as fans hail Chelsea star’s interviews as ‘one of a kind’
COLE PALMER sent fans into hysterics by angering and silencing a reporter when asked about Chelsea's title aspirations.
The 22-year-old scored and assisted in their 3-0 win over Aston Villa yesterday.
After his man of the match was shown, Palmer was asked by Match of the Day commentator Mark Scott what part of the performance he was most pleased with.
In typical fashion, he replied bluntly, “Three points.”
The win moved Chelsea level with Arsenal in the table on 25 points after seven wins, four draws and two losses.
And the goal difference of the London rivals is also identical: they both scored 26 goals and conceded 14.
They are nine points behind leaders Liverpool, which led to Palmer being asked why Chelsea cannot be seen as title contenders.
He gave the BBC reporter a dirty look and said: “No, it's too early, man.”
Fans found it hilarious, with one saying: “Palmer is one of a kind.”
Another said: “The face he made lol. I love him. A real non-PR man.”

A third commented: “Palmer's interviews are a thing of beauty.”
More responded: “A man of few words. I love the child.”
The same question was asked to Blues boss Enzo Maresca, who seemed much happier to explain why they don't see themselves in the running.
He said: “We are not ready yet and the reason for this is because there are teams like Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal who are better than us in different areas.”
