The beloved couple then saw in Christmas and the new year with a fun day out in Winter Wonderland.
And last month Connie raised the lid over her relationship with Palmer with a number of heart -warming comments.
She said: “We met when we were 17. I think he knew me through mutual friends, so I think he was probably noticing me.
“Oh, it's warm and cuddly. Well, with me, hopefully no one else.
“If you know how much someone wants something and you know that that is someone's dream, you just feel so proud.”
