Another hunter who tends to bring drama is the unbeaten Khamzat Chimaev, who seems to have established a bit in recent years.

Even before the UFC 279 press conference could start, there was drama with the hunters waiting to go on stage.
Dana White and his staff tried to persevere by thinking up a new system that the athletes would split, but that fell apart as soon as Nate Diaz arrived and the tension revived.
After a quick conversation with his security team, White announced at the press conference that the best step would be to close things early before things got out of hand.
“Yes, this is not going to happen. My apologies, everyone. I am here in very strange waters. This has never happened in the history of this company.
“Let me tell you that this is the right decision not to make this press conference now. Yes, I will be with you. I am with you. But for everyone's safety this is the right decision. My apologies.”
In an interview with MMA Fighting, Li Jingliang, who was also ready to appear at the press conference, gave his version of what happened backstage and described it as “complete chaos”.
'The Leech' stated that things started between Khamzat Chimaev and Kevin Holland, but the situation eventually became harmless when the call was made to split the hunters in pairs to bring them two at the same time.
Holland and Daniel Rodriguez made up for it, but in the meantime the tensions quickly escalated when Nate Diaz and his team arrived and immediately stood in with Chimaev after a fighting week that was full of drama.
Bottles were thrown before White said the event was a wrap and the UFC 279 press conference ended after only two hunters had spoken with the media.

Khamzat Chimaev missed the limit of Welterweight with 7.5 pounds for his fight with Nate Diaz, which led to a large redeighning to save the map.
Chimaev eventually stood opposite Kevin Holland in the middleweight, while the original opponent of Holland, Daniel Rodriguez, stood opposite Li Jingliang.
Jingliang was originally ready to be confronted against Tony Ferguson, which instead against Diaz moisture in the five -round main event in Las Vegas.
