Milan won a fourth game in five when a 2-1 triumph was reached on Monday evening when Rafael Leao canceled the Vitinha opener for Genoa before their skipper Morten Frendrup brought his own net.
“We started in one way and ended up in another. They pay me to work and read the game. Sometimes we can give coaches a little more, sometimes we can't,” Confeicao then told Dazn.
“We are not only working on a system, we work at individual, department and collective level. You sometimes get mistakes, such as for the purpose we have admitted.
“That is why we are at Milanello, very focused on working on these things. We are happy if the players succeed and win.
“We have changed in terms of position and have put Joao (Felix) with Santi (Gimenez) at the front and we have opened the attack a bit more. This is a demonstration of the skill of the players, not the skill of the coach.”
