Conor Coady transfer news: Wrexham make bid for Leicester City defender after Christian Eriksen approach

Wrexham has made an £ 2 million offer for Leicester City Center-back Conor Coady.

It is understanding that the 32-year-old would be open to exploring a move to the newly promoted championship club, if a deal can be agreed.

Sky Sports News revealed last month that Rangers had made an approach for the English international.

COADY has left for a year to his Leicester contract.

Wrexham, co-ownership of Rob Mcelhenney and Ryan Reynolds, have been back in the second level for the first time since 1982 and have already made six permanent signing sessions while continuing their Push from Non-League to the Premier League.

Josh Windass, Danny Ward, George Thomason, Liberato Cacace, Ryan Hardie and Lewis O'Brien have so far the confirmed signing sessions, while conversations have also been held with former Manchester United -midfielder Christian Eriksen and Sheffield United Striker Kieffer Moore.

Wrexham makes Eriksen approach

The championship side held conversations with Denmark International Eriksen, who is a free agent after leaving Manchester United this summer.

The 33-year-old would still prefer a switch to a top club, but is impressed by the field and the ambition of Wrexham.

Eriksen made 23 Premier League performances for United last season, scored one goal and recorded two assists.
