
The teammate of UFC Superstar Conor McGregor, nicknamed 'Slick Nick', may soon get a shot in the Octagon.
During the legendary combat sport career of Conor McGregor, many top names rose to star rendom at SBG Ireland. In between fighting camps and business companies, McGregor ensures that he promotes his teammates in MMA and boxing while looking to increase the ranks and get a chance on large platforms.
In MMA there is no larger platform than the UFC Octagon, a place where McGregor changed its life forever. McGregor, a future UFC Hall of Famer, went from a brash up-and-comer to the face of promotion during the flourishing of his career.
McGregor wants to see a similar result for one of his star teammates who won a huge victory during the weekend in Madrid.

Nikolay Grozdev entered Warrior FC 17 (WOW) with an 8-2 professional record and fresh from back-to-back first round entry victories. After earning a bonus after the fight in September, Grozdev returned to the cage at WOW 17 against fellow hyped prospect Theo Bashford.
Just a few seconds in the first round, Bashford landed a hard low staircase and a right hand that seemed to Grozdev in Stun. But Grozdev was able to secure a Takedown with one leg and get the top position, in an arm triangle choke for his third consecutive victory.
It was a wild comeback for Grozdev in the WOW 17 Co-Main event, where UFC star Ilia Topuria Sat Cageide in Madrid.
After the victory of Grozdev, McGregor did not last long to respond to social media in an attempt to convince the UFC matchmakers to give him a chance to earn a schedule.
McGregor responded to Grozdev's victory in a recent Instagram story.
“Slick Nick a first round finish! UFC,” McGregor posted.
Grozdev could possibly earn a title shot for his next fight in WOW FC while he continues to rise the rankings of featherweight. It can be a matter of time until the UFC comes to call, especially after the approval of McGregor.

McGregor's Much praise from Grozdev comes in the midst of speculation of an MMA retirement after a recent bare Knokkel FC press conference. In anticipation of BKFC Hollywood, McGregor teased a potential UFC pension while he is planning to go for President in Ireland later this year.
McGregor has not appeared in the Octagon since he injured his leg against Dustin Poirier on UFC 264 in 2021. He was supposed to give UFC 303 to Michael Chandler last June before he withdrew due to a toe injury.
If McGregor wins the Irish presidential election, he does not exclude any possible return to fighting, possibly in the boxing ring or BKFC. In recent months, McGregor stood with Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens after he had become partly owner last year.
McGregor's full access to politics started when he visited the White House in Washington DC earlier this month for a meeting with US President Donald Trump. Trump, an avid UFC fan, praised McGregor as one of his favorite Irish people in a meeting with the political elite of Ireland.
