Conor McGregor has made a daring prediction prior to the UFC 314 Co-Main event.
Earlier this week, the former Dual-Weight UFC champion claimed that he was interested in Michael Chandler vs Paddy Pimblett while he was teasing a return to the Octagon for the first time since he broke his leg in July 2021.
Only a few hours before the lightweight duo threw down, Conor McGregor clarified his feelings about their fight.

Conor McGregor makes solid UFC 314 bets
Conor McGregor would be against Michael Chandler on UFC 303 in June 2024.
A toe injury forced the Irishman from the map, but since then their rivalry has continued to simmer.
Yet there seems to be a healthy respect between them, based on the pre-Fight bet of McGregor.
He tweeted: “The notorious one is back with @duelbits, honey! I call it – Chandler by Brutal Ko!”
Attached was a video in which the greatest legend of MMA gave some insight into his UFC 314 prediction.
“The fight I am interested in, Michael Chandler vs Paddy Pimblett,” said McGregor.
“I am going with Michael Chandler to win and win by Ko.
“Although Paddy has improved in his last few trips, I still feel like Chandler to do it.”
What is the next step for Conor McGregor?
McGregor's public interest in Chandler vs Pimblett goes against his most recent comeback marks.
The 36-year-old shocked everyone when he made a UFC pension exploitation after he had rejected a fight.
He is currently focused on his political career after starting a campaign to become President of Ireland.
“I have two fights on the contract, I am in negotiations,” he said when he was asked for a possible move to the square circle during a BKFC press conference. “Last week something happened to me. I went to the White House and my heart is now bleeding for my country.
“So there are many things going on, I am happy with what I have done. There is something else for me that is now in my stomach, and that is a kind of where I am going.
“There was an opportunity or a deal, will we say to fight only recently in Alcatraz.
“As a hunter we got to know our value. I keep every pay-per-view record in the book, I keep every gambling record in the Boo, K and my comeback will be planned as the biggest or the largest, most expected comeback of all time.
“So it must be good. At the moment Ireland is in my mind, and that's where I am, but it will happen, I know for sure, and it's always great to be here at BKFC.”
