Conor McGregor has spoken his excitement in the new direction of the UFC, including the Islam Makhachev that drops its lightweight title.
Former two -weight world champion McGregor has a long -term feud with Makhachev and his mentor Khabib Nurmagomedov dating from his 2018 fight with the last one. He has a strong aversion to the fighting style that comes from Dagestani hunters, and rarely has a lot to say about them.
Now McGregor has given his opinion about a whole series of announcements from UFC boss Dana White, including the news that Makhachev has given up his world title. The Russian now goes up to a good weight when pursuing a second belt against Jack della Maddalena.
Conor McGregor enthusiastic about UFC announcements -including Islam Makhachev title
On Tuesday evening, Dana White went to Instagram live to announce a series of large UFC fights. Among them, Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev were included in the main event of UFC 319 and the chance of Ilia Topuria to become lightweight champion against Charles Oliveira on UFC 317.
White noted that Topuria vs Oliveira is for the empty lightweight title, which means that Makhachev has officially given up the belt. He has already defended the title more than anyone else in history and now goes to good weight in the pursuit of Jack della Maddalena's newly won belt.

McGregor found this news delighted and tweeted at night: “Wow! Real exciting times again in the UFC! Oh yes! Bravo, Dana White! Never any doubt!”
He also tagged his promotion BKFC, the TKO group that owns WWE, UFC and a new boxing company and a large number of own companies alongside Money Bag Emojis. His companies include TIDL Sport, forged Irish Stout and his media outlet The Mac Life.
The UFC return from Conor McGregor stays up in the air
Although McGregor has a lot to say about the current hunters, there is less known about his plan to return to the Octagon. He would be confronted with Michael Chandler on UFC 303 last year, before he withdrew with a broken toe and let his rival fight twice more.
Nowadays he seems more interested in his presidential ambitions in Ireland and promoting BKFC events. McGregor recently stated that he is happy with his estate, leaning in the direction of a more permanent pension.
His last fight came on UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier in a trilogy that saw him undergo a horribly broken leg. He has been fully recovered, but it seems that a return to the Octagon is currently low on his list of priorities.
