Conor McGregor has admitted that he is 'happy with what he did' while looking into a new career in the light of his MMA pension.
The legendary two-weight UFC champion did not participate, because a broken leg cost him his trilogy with Dustin Poirier in the summer of 2021. He would come back to Michael Chandler last summer, but withdrew because of a broken toe.
Now he would like an offer statements for the Irish presidency, which would mean he would push an election in November. And for the first time, after many false flags, he starts speaking over the years with a certain degree of realism.
Conor McGregor thinks with retirement before Irish Presidential Run
Over the past four years, Conor McGregor has made a large public push for Boss Dana White to get him back in the Octagon. He was released from the injury that cost him his last fight within a year, but spent the next two on the sidelines.
Now, with a run for Irish presidency in the appearance, he admits that his career might be on his way to be ready. Speaking during a BKFC -Media event today, he noted that he is satisfied with his current fighting inheritance and noted that 'something else' has pulled him lately.

“I have two fights on the contract, I am in negotiations,” he told the press when he was asked for a possible move to the square circle. “Last week something happened to me, I went to the White House and my heart is now bleeding for my country.
“So there are many things going on, I am happy with what I have done. There is something else for me that is now in my feeling and that is a kind of where I am going.”
The former lightweight and featherweight champion becomes 37 in July, and in the unlikely case that he ran and won for Irish presidency, a period of seven years would take effect. Although he says he wants to fight while he is in the office, it is very unlikely and would exclude what an 11-year-old absence would be.
Conor McGregor reveals a fighting offer that he was rejected in the midst of the presidential run
In the part of McGregor's answer that did not come to many social media clips, he spoke about a potential fight in Alcatraz that was recently offered. He thought that the deal was not logical and noted that his massive pay-per-view drawing capacity is unparalleled in combat sport today.
It is known that boxing Supremo Turki Alalsheikh would have liked to organize an event on the infamous Californian island. However, it is unclear whether that was the offer to McGregor, or whether other plans are present.

“There was an opportunity or a deal, will we say to only fight in Alcatraz recently,” McGregor continued. “There is an event going on in Alcatraz, I believe, June. They came to me and it was not my value.
“As a hunter we got to know our value. I keep every pay-per-view record in the book, I keep every gate record in the book and my comeback will be planned as the biggest or the largest, most expected comeback of all time.
“So it must be good. At the moment Ireland is in my mind and that is where I am, but it will happen, I know for sure and it is always great to be here at BKFC.”
