
Despite his long break from the UFC, fans remained hopeful that Conor McGregor would make a comeback to action.
Conor McGregor fought for the last time in the UFC in 2021 when he took on Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight and his leg broke at the end of the round.
Since then, 'the notorious' Irish have been planned to return to Michael Chandler after their season at the Ultimate Fighter, but McGregor withdrew from their UFC 303 fight due to a broken toe.
After his withdrawal from his planned comeback, the Irishman consistently plagued that his return in particular would happen and UFC boss Dana White remained hopeful.

During his interruption of action, the 36-year-old became involved in various interesting companies, and McGregor recently revealed that he will run for the presidency in Ireland.
In addition, McGregor was involved in combat sports in combat sports, co-owner of Bare-Knuckle Boxing Promotion, BKFC.
And with that the Irishman has somewhat become a permanent fixture at BKFC events, comes straight to the center of the action and even teases that one day he will fight under the BKFC banner.
During the recent BKFC event, McGregor went on stage to answer questions, of course, put under pressure by reporters about his potential comeback to the UFC.
McGregor continued to drop a huge pension hint and stated that he is happy with how his career has disappeared and that he has other things that he is more interested at the moment.
During the event, McGregor joined fellow UFC Double Champion, Amanda Nunes. 'The Lioness' is generally considered the greatest female hunter who ever follows her success in the UFC.
Amanda Nunes could have UFC return this year
Although fans have probably come to terms with McGregor who does not return to the UFC quickly, or not at all, there is a big chance that Nunes will return to action in 2025.
After Kayla Harrison had made her long-awaited UFC debut on UFC 300 last April, Nunes immediately teased a return to the UFC and sent a cryptic video to Dana White.
After the video, Dana White admitted that there is a chance that Nunes could return to the sport, especially if Harrison de Bantamweight champion of the UFC ladies will be.
