Conor McGregor praises ‘magnificent’ UFC champion ahead of UFC 316 rematch

UFC Superstar Conor McGregor is fired to view the return of Merab Dvalishvili.

UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili is one of the largest stars in mixed martial arts, in the midst of a long unbeaten streak during his career. After beating one of the proteges of Khabib Nurmagomedov on UFC 311, DvalishHvili was covered with praise by Conor McGregor.

Dvalishvili will make his next Bantamweight title defense against the man he defeated for the belt, Sean O'Malley, in the UFC 316 Main Event in June. On UFC 306 in September, Dvalishvili O'Malley opened a unanimous decision to ward off in a new title line in the Bantamweight department.

The rise of Dvalishvili until star row came after back-to-back to start his UFC official period. Years later, McGregor has awe for what Dvalishvili has achieved after early adversity.

Conor McGregor is a big fan of Merab Dvalishvili

Before his current undefeated series, Dvalishvili lost fighting to Ricky Simon and Frankie Saenz. The UFC was about to cut DvalishVili before he returned to the win column in his next fight against Terrion Ware.

Since his two UFC stains, DvalishHvili has become one of the most dominant forces in combat sports, and McGregor is a huge supporter of his success.

In a recent message to X, McGregor gave a public approval to UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili for overcoming losses in his first two UFC performances.

“And now, years later, the reigning, defensive UFC world champion! Magnificent!” McGregor said about Dvalishvili.

“Merab is a star!”

At the moment, DvalishVili has not publicly responded to McGregor's comments. McGregor has not fought anymore since he injured his leg against Dustin Poirier on UFC 264.

McGregor conquered some adversity in his MMA career to become the face of the UFC. A four-second knockout victory was the catalyst behind the meteoric rise of McGregor in combat sports.

Conor McGregor teased MMA pension in the midst of Irish political ambitions

McGregor raised eyebrows during a recent Bare Knuckle FC press conference when he hinted to finish his MMA career to pursue the political office in Ireland. McGregor announced his Irish presidential campaign earlier this year after a white house meeting with US President Donald Trump.

McGregor was briefly linked to a boxing match with Logan Paul before the UFC matchmakers reportedly crushed negotiations. At the moment McGregor remains under contract with the UFC, but is not in the drug -free sports test bath of the promotion.

Dvalishvili is one of the different UFC stars that have flourished without McGregor's spotlights in the promotion. If he beats O'Malley again at UFC 316, the Dvalishvili matter to go up the pound-for-pound ranks will be a strong.
