Conor McGregor could come face to face with his UFC boss in the coming days.
'Notorious' has not been on good terms with Dana White during his time on the sidelines.
The former two-weight UFC champion broke his leg during a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021. Unfortunately, his return to the Octagon has been delayed in part due to behind-the-scenes issues with MMA's most powerful man.
Nevertheless, they will reunite in Washington DC on Monday to celebrate the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States.

Conor McGregor and Dana White fly to the American capital
On Saturday, McGregor was on air for the vast majority of White's first pay-per-view show of 2025.
The Irishman's long-time coach John Kavanagh shared a photo of the two men standing in front of a private plane and explained where they were going on his 48th birthday.
“It will be an unforgettable birthday! On our way to the inauguration with the champion,” Kavanagh captioned his Instagram post. “Thanks for the invite @thenotoriousmma, we had some memorable January 18th!”
A few hours later, McGregor tweeted: “Just landed in Washington DC to watch @realDonaldTrump become double champion! #Exceptional#ChampChamp”
White had a private jet ready during his post-fight press conference at UFC 311.
The 55-year-old rushed through his media battle before boarding a flight to the capital.
Nelk Boy Kyle Forgeard confirmed their safe arrival with an Instagram post that White shared to his story.
It read: “Hitch walked with uncle @danawhite from LA… big weekend, let's go.”
What's next for Conor McGregor?
In recent weeks, rumors of McGregor boxing matches with Logan Paul and KSI have gathered pace online.
White recently issued a public response to 'Mystic Mac' being courted again by the boxing world after earning $100 million to face Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
“No,” the MMA mogul replied when asked if McGregor will fight Paul during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast.
“No, no, no,” White added when the prospect of McGregor vs. KSI was brought up.
“Hopefully Conor McGregor will return in the fall of this year.”
It appears McGregor and White will get a chance to discuss all the details in the coming days.
