Conor McGregor snubbed as UFC legend chooses the perfect main event for UFC card at the White House

A UFC Hall of Famer sees a better option than Conor McGregor to surpass the potential event in the White House that Donald Trump announced before 2026.

During a rally on the Iowa State Fairgrounds last Thursday, Trump announced a UFC fight to take place at the Witte House Lawn as part of the celebrations of next year on July 4.

“We're going to have a UFC fight,” said Trump. “Think about this on the site of the White House. We have a lot of land there. We are going to build a bit, they are not, Dana is going to do it.

“Dana is great. Somewhat. Goes a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, such as 25,000 people.

“We are going to do that as part of 250,” Trump added. “We are going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events, but the UFC fight will be a big problem.”

McGregor wants headlines in the White House, which seemed to have been done before fighting until the prospect to compete on the national celebration arose.

But when it comes to celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the declaration of independence, a UFC Hall of Famer sees a better fit than the former two-division champion.

July 4 next year is a Saturday, with regard to President Trumps UFC Witte Huis event.

I will rule President of Ireland, slightly less than 1 year when I take the lawns of the White House out.

Epic proportions! Or as I like to call it, Tuesday at the office.

To vote…

Michael Bisping chooses Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall above Conor McGregor

During a recent video that was uploaded to his YouTube channel, former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping responded to news about the planned White House event.

After his own desire to be present, probably in a comment or analysis, 'The Count' looked ahead to the potential fights that could fall.

While the Brit recognized McGregor's interest, he proposed the long -awaited heavyweight collision between the American Jones and the English Tom Aspinall more suitable instead.

“Donald Trump announced a huge event; the UFC is coming to the White House,” said Bisping. “Some hunters have already set up their hands and did their services volunteer.

“Conor McGregor raised his hand, Michael Chandler said:” Let's do this. “There are many people. Let's start with it, main event in the White House … Who would this be?

“Well, we know that Jon Jones is one of Donald Trump's favorite hunters,” Bisping continued. “Can you imagine that Ciryl Gane is defeated by Tom (Aspinall), but he lets him work for it … Jon Jones will let Jones think:” Wait a minute, I can beat this guy. “

“If there is one fight and one location that Jon Jones would come for, we might just see the greatest heavyweight fight of all time … That would be the most important event in the White House. England versus vs all over again! 1776, eat your heart.”

Jon Jones teases from retirement after the announcement of Donald Trump

Just like McGregor and many other UFC hunters, it wasn't long before Jones responded to Trump's claim over Octagon Action outside the White House.

The recently retired Goat -Competer appeared on X to throw his name in the hat.

“Fighting in the White House? (Eyes emoji)”

He doubled in a follow-up post and claimed to have taken action to reverse his controversial decision to name it in June.

“I just reintroduced the test pool, which lasted about two weeks. I thought we would keep everyone's options open.”
