According to an MMA icon, Conor McGregor should not get the chance to fight against Michael Chandler.
The pair of fierce rivals would wage war at UFC 303 on 30 June 2024, until the Irishman withdrew the match, stating an injured toe.
However, McGregor and Chandler recently ruled their feud, with 'The Notorious' who suggests that he would like to fight in a stadium.
But according to a former challenger of the world title, their long -awaited collision makes little sense.

Chael Sonnen says that Conor McGregor should not fight Michael Chandler
Although there is still a level of intrigues with regard to Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler, Chael Sonnen is convinced that it may not be as great as the Dubliner might think.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, he explained why the two-weight UFC world champion does not deserve to share the Octagon with 'Iron'.
'The American Gangster' claimed: “[Conor says] “I'm coming back, I have unfinished things with Michael Chandler” – let me stop there. You and Chandler have no things.
“You did a series of the ultimate hunter that had so bad reviews, they had to bring Daniel Cormier and I to breathe new life into the whole story.
“You want to get a stadium against the same opponent for which you had a contract and did not show up.
“I know Michael Chandler, I am friends with Michael Chandler, you have no business with Michael Chandler.”

Although Sonen is certainly not enthusiastic about the idea of McGregor who fights Michael Chandler, there can be other options on the table for the garbage can.
