Conor McGregor tweets and deletes cryptic post mocking Anthony Smith’s bloody UFC retirement loss

Anthony Smith's long career in the UFC ended on Saturday evening in UFC Kansas City.

After 58 professional MMA fights, after his loss against Dominick Reyes, Anthony Smith knew last year that he only had an outing in him.

The UFC veteran was then tailored to Mingyang Zhang in UFC Kansas City this Saturday and said goodbye to his long term of office in the most important promotion.

Smith came famous extremely close to beating Jon Jones when he fought him for the title in 2019 and agreed to fight after he had hit an illegal knee, instead of taking the DQ winning to become the UFC champion.

Conor McGregor Cryptically Mash the loss of Anthony Smith

Although the 36-year-old hoped to bow with a victory from his successful UFC career, he soon realized in his fight against the Chinese striker, he soon realized why he was now retired and not in a few years.

Early in the fight, Smith was cut open by a sharp elbow, which resulted in the former title -Uitdager leaking throughout the Achthoek while trying to regain his calmness.

Because Smith was in a clear disadvantage, Smith tried to take the fight to the ground, but was reversed by Mingyang, who ruled more brutal elbows, which resulted in the referee who stepped in and cried the fight.

On the left in a bloody mess, Smith sat upright and started to swear by a member of the crowd, and continued to the cage and tried to climb over to confront the fan.

Fortunately, however, his team and opponent managed to calm him down while he took his last moments in the cage.

Although many fans and hunters support Smith in his last outing, someone who is not a former UFC-Dubbel champion, is Conor McGregor, who apparently mocked him in a now removed post on X.

Conor McGregor and Anthony Smith have history

Although spotting Smith by the Irishman may not seem provoked, the two have some history with each other.

After McGregor broke his leg in his last fight against Dustin Poirier, he started leaving the UFC antidoping test pool and set up a lot of size during his time from fighting.

Smith also claimed that there could have been a mistake of McGregor, which resulted in a retribution of the Irishman who called Smith 'a shame of a man'.

Because Smith probably continues his role as an analyst for the UFC, he might have much to say about McGregor's plagued comeback to the Octagon.
