Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul UFC 5 simulation predicts shock KO in 2025 crossover fight

Conor McGregor's potential fight with Jake Paul has been predicted by an AI simulation.

In December, the former two-weight UFC champion shocked the world when he took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to reveal that he had “tentative agreements” for a comeback fight against Logan Paul.

Conor McGregor has topped Jake Paul's charts since switching to boxing in 2020.

The YouTuber turned fighter responded to news that his brother might be boxing 'Notorious' by claiming he had also been approached by Team McGregor, setting up a clash between him and MMA's biggest star in 2025.

Conor McGregor vs. Jake Paul Simulation

It's currently unclear who McGregor will face when he returns to fight for the first time since breaking his leg in a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021 – but Jake and Logan Paul certainly appear to be the frontrunners.

Fans are already trying to predict how the potential matchups will go, with one person using video game simulations to pick a winner. McGregor will beat Logan Paul in a one-sided defeat if 'Fight Night Champion''s AI prediction is correct.

The same fan has used 'UFC 5' to predict how McGregor vs. Jake Paul will go. Despite the fight taking place in MMA, the Irishman struggles to overcome his massive size disadvantage, ultimately suffering a brutal knockout loss to Mike Tyson's comeback opponent.

McGregor was clearly the better striker in the first round. The 36-year-old managed to make his opponent pay with counters throughout the five minutes, scoring two impressive knockdowns.

Paul, however, had more powerful punches. 'The Problem Child' opened a cut on his opponent, scored a knockdown himself and even managed to floor McGregor at the end of his first round in MMA.

Paul dropped McGregor again at the start of the second round, but that didn't stop him from using his wrestling skills.

There were a lot of wrestling exchanges in the second stanza, even though Paul did better work on the feet.

The 26-year-old scored a third knockdown before ending the fight moments later. McGregor didn't move when he was dropped for the fourth time, so the referee waved with 71 seconds left on the clock.

Only time will tell if McGregor will fight Jake Paul. If he does, a boxing fight seems most likely, but the influencer has discussed his move to MMA ahead of a potential debut in the sport in 2025 with PFL.

It seems like anything could happen in the coming months, especially after UFC boss Dana White started the year with an exciting nine-word message.

Logan Paul outlines the most important goals for 2025

Logan Paul ended his year by revealing that he has three main goals for 2025.

Despite rumors of a $500 million purse with McGregor if they fight, 'The Maverick' made no mention of a return to the boxing ring as wrestling, family and business are his three main priorities for the next twelve months.

“2025, I ain't messing around,” Logan said on his YouTube channel.

“WWE, I will be a champion. I'm also getting married and I will continue to keep the world hydrated with the best hydration drink in history: PRIME.

'I love you all. Thanks for the support, as usual.

'I'm not going anywhere. More good days are coming. Take it easy. Peace!”

This could be good news for Jake Paul, who focuses solely on fighting and has been doing so for several years.

Whatever happens, McGregor is poised to make a sensational comeback in 2025.

Logan and Jake are at the top of a long list of fighters hoping to secure a 'Red Panty Night'.
