US President Donald Trump announced the UFC plans to host a map in the White House in 2026 to add the celebrations of Independence Day. Next year marks the 250th anniversary of the national independence of the United States.

UFC CEO Dana White confirmed the promotion plans during the press conference after the fight of the UFC Nashville and stated that he and his staff will soon meet President Trump and other government officials to discuss logistically.

After President Trump's announcement had made the rounds, McGregor was one of the first to throw his name in the hat to possibly fight on the map. Despite the scourge of McGregor, his former UFC rival does not buy them, but he teased two high-profile opponents for his possible return.

In a recent interview with the SchMO, Eddie Alvarez weighed on McGregor's latest return containers.

“Only Conor knows that. I don't think so,” said Alvarez about McGregor.

“Dana and they have their own conversations, we are not aware of them, we don't know … I think that if Conor comes back, I think Michael Chandler is the man to do it.

“Mike Perry says he will come to 170 to fight against Conor, that's really interesting for me, I would also like to see that in the Octagon. But there are a lot of matchups for that guy, a lot of them.”

McGregor played Alvarez on UFC 205 to become the first simultaneous two -part champion of the promotion.

McGregor and Bare Knuckle FC star Mike Perry shared a lively moment during a recent press conference, which fed speculation of a potentially fight. Perry has become the face of bare boxing since leaving the UFC in 2021.

It is expected that Perry will get a top name for his BKFC recitement later this year. Darren Till and former UFC champion Welterweight Robbie Lawler are two names in the mix to look Perry.

While McGregor continues to tease a return to the Octagon, many of his former rivals are increasingly doubtful that he succeeds it with a comeback. But time will learn whether McGregor's UFC height points is over.
