Courtois willing to play for Belgium after Tedesco’s departure

Thibaut Courtois has made itself available again for Belgium after the departure of Domenico Tedesco.

Courtois came out of grace under Tedesco, whose term of office ended in January, after he had won any of his last five games.

Rudi Garcia has been adopted as a replacement for Tedesco, and his first games will come to Ukraine in the Nations League in March.

And after he has been chosen against playing for Belgium under Tedesco and missed the euros during the trial, Courtois has now said that he is willing to return.

“I missed the national team, but now I'm ready [to return]”He said in a podcast interview with Rio Ferdinand.

Courtois has not been playing for Belgium since June 2023, after he became angry after being overlooked for the captain by Tedesco.
