CR7 sends fans into a transfer frenzy after his jet lands at Manchester Airport

Fans of Manchester United were sent in a frenzy after they had seen Cristiano Ronaldo's Jet in Manchester.

Ronaldos £ 61 million Bombardier Global Express 6500 Jet landed on Manchester Airport this week, which caused speculation that the Portuguese superstar could return to his former club again.

A video shared by the official X account of Manchester Airport showed the matte black jet decorated with a silhouette from Ronaldo and his nickname “CR7” on the side of the plane.

With United who has endured a destroyed season that she lost almost half of their Premier League matches this season, some fans hope that Ronaldo's Jet is a hint that the 40-year-old could return to the club for the third time .

Ronaldo came to United for the first time in 2003 and remained until 2009 when he made a huge switch to Real Madrid.

He then returned to Old Trafford for a short period between 2021 and 2022.

Desperate United fans think that a third spell could be on the cards and went to social media to argue for their club legend to save them from the bottom half of the table.

One wrote: “Bring him back @manutd. I will drop my agenda”.

While another added: “Glazers out, CR7 in.”

A third said, “He comes for a last dance.”

And a fourth posted: “Welcome Home”.

It is not really clear whether Ronaldo was on Friday next to his Jet in Manchester, but it seems unlikely in view of the fact that he played in Saudi Arabia on Thursday evening during the 3-2 victory of Al-Nassr over Al-Ahli.

Although he is also expected to stand in line again on Monday for Al-Nassr against the Iranian side Persepolis in the AFC Champions League.

Ronaldo's current contract with Al-Nassr will end in the summer, but reports have suggested that he has agreed to an extension of a year with the Saudi club.

Many United fans can breathe in a sigh of relief that Ronaldo will probably not come to the club, especially in view of the acid end to his last stint in Manchester.

Ronaldo's contract with the Red Devils was terminated after a public spit with the then manager Erik ten Hag and an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
