CR7’s boxing no-show explained as superstar’s spotted at historic sporting event

Cristiano Ronaldo did not live to boxing in Riyadh last night as expected.

The Portuguese star, 40, has been to numerous events since he moved to Saudi Aarabia, and even sitting next to Anthony Joshua for the first fight of last year between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

In anticipation of the huge last Crescendo show of Saturday evening, told by the Rematch between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev, Sky Sports posted a video with a Rings chair with the “CR7” label.

While the enormous night of boxing action unfolded, Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen.

With the main event that is approaching, the absence of the former Manchester United star was finally explained as he placed on social media.

Ronaldo uploaded a photo of himself with Saudi Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

The couple was with the Saudi cup, the world's richest horse race.

For Forever Young Edge Romantic Warrior, Ronaldo and Bin Salman witnessed the £ 16 million duel in the desert.

The attacker wore a traditional Saudi Thawb while grinning for the photo.

He endorsed it: “Glad to celebrate the founding day with his Royal Highness Crown Prins Mohammed bin Salman, and honored to attend the Saudi Cup horses race ceremony in Riyad.”

In the meantime, when boxing, Ronaldo missed an incredible night with Joseph Parker's second round knockout of late stand-in Martin Bakole, and Bivol's tight majority points victory over rival Beterbiev.

Ronaldo seemed to be better at racing than 24 hours earlier.

The Real Madrid icon was furious during the final phase of the 3-2 home defeat of Al-Nassr against Al-Eittifaq.

At the back of the final phase after a double from the former Liverpool star Georginio Wijnaldum, Al-Nassr were reduced to 10 men, because new £ 64 million signing Jhon Duran was sent for light-beating rival player Abdulelah Almalki.

Ronaldo disputed the decision furiously and even pushed a ball away in frustration.

The result left Al-Nassr fourth in the Saudi Pro League table, 11 points behind leaders Al-Sittihad after 21 games.
