UFC 319 star Khamzat Chimaev expects Baysgur Susurkaev to be a future middleweight champion.
UFC Middleweight Competier Khamzat Chimaev is days away from the biggest fight of his career at UFC 319 against middleweight champion Dric Du Plessis. On Tuesday evening, when Chimaev continued his preparations for UFC 319, one of his old teammates achieved a lifelong goal in securing a UFC contract.
Middle weight Baysgur Susurkaev earned the only knockout of the Contender Series about recurring Fighter Murtaza Talha on Tuesday evening. Only a few minutes after their fight, Susurkaev Talha ended with a body kick, which shouted Talha of pain.
Only a few days before UFC 319, the old training partner of Chimaev added a victory for his team in the lead to the title fight of Du Plessis. While Susurkaev is looking ahead to his UFC debut, Chimaev believes that the UFC has just added another future champion.

During his UFC 319 Media Day conference, Chimaev gave his thoughts about the UFC and added his old teammate to his division.
“He's crazy, he did his whole camp with me, spared and so on. So I knew he would go there and take the contract,” said Chimaev.
“He has a good future, great future if he keeps working hard as he. You are going to get a new champion!”
DWCS has produced several champions during the history of the show, including Sean O'Malley and Jamahal Hill. Susurkaev is only 24 years old and did not even come close to the physical prime of his career.

UFC CEO Dana White Label Susurkaev A 'Killer' while praising the newest signing of the promotion. In addition, Welterweight Ty Miller obtained a UFC contract for his victory over Jimmy Drago on the DWCS card.
White revealed on Tuesday evening that the UFC matchmakers want to book the promotion debut of Susurkaev as quickly as possible. Susurkaev hinted that his debut could be at UFC 319 this Saturday.
Baysgur Susurkaev could get a debut of the UFC debut this Saturday
In a post-fight Social Mediapost, Susurkaev hinted that a recent conversation with White could conquer his debut for this Saturday in Chicago. Susurkaev will fly out this week for UFC 319 in the hope of possibly securing a fight in a short-notice addition to the map.
It is uncertain whether Susurkaev will be confronted with a short-notice-opponent, or whether he will remain in case something happens with one of the UFC 319 middleweight attacks. An announcement could be made soon.
Susurkaev accepted the Talha fight for a four -day notification, an amazing performance when he entered the competition as a modest underdog. Talha had fought on DWC's before and lost to Rodolfo Bellato by Knock -Out in 2023.
