Cristiano Ronaldo moves ahead of Lionel Messi as more records tumble

Former Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo scored two more goals for Al Nassr against Al Gharafa in the AFC Champions League on Monday.

His two goals on Monday mean Ronaldo has now scored 450 goals after turning 30. This milestone brings him closer to his goal of reaching 1,000 career goals as he currently has 913 goals, including 18 goals and four assists in all competitions this season.

Ronaldo also became the first player to score 150 goals in Champions League competitions, counting both his UEFA Champions League and AFC Champions League strikes.

In his 23rd season, Ronaldo continues to impress with an average of 0.84 goals per game. Moreover, his two goals on Monday allowed him to break a new record, which he previously shared with Argentinian star Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo became the first player in history to score more than 40 goals in 13 different years, surpassing Messi's 12-year record of 40 or more goals in a calendar year.
