Crystal Palace 2-2 Man City: City drop points again despite Haaland & Lewis net

MANCHESTER CITY lost more ground in the Premier League title race as Rico Lewis was sent to an early shower.

Match report

With a goal each either side of half-time, the reigning champions failed to record consecutive league wins for the first time since October.

Daniel Munoz had gotten the Eagles off to a flying start just four minutes into the game.

However, Erling Haaland was ready after just half an hour with a looping header to equalize with his first league goal since the 2-1 defeat to Brighton in early November and put him in the golden boot race alongside Mo Salah.

It was a similar story in the second half, with Maxence Lacroix rising highest after a corner was swung against the far post to head into the top corner.

But fantastic team play saw City slice open Palace's defense before Lewis was played through on goal and curled a shot into the top corner, leaving Dean Henderson without a chance.
